A team of 10 founders all from different diversities but with the same vision and mission in our minds and hearts. The team at Artoonj, based out of Artauni district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, came together with the idea of creating a sustainable brand rooted with cultural intelligence of a community after inspiration from our mentors.
Our aim is not just to sell products but also the story and the history of the art and artisans. We aspire to be a Swadeshi brand with global recognition one day to tell the tales of the great handmade art and craft that can compete in the modern world. Bringing a mix of the urban and rural sector we hope to “COME TOGETHER, STAY TOGETHER AND GROW TOGETHER”.

WHAT IT MEANS
With Artoonj, we mean a combination of Artoni and Moonj. Artoni, Uttar Pradesh is the district for which Artoonj aims for a better standard of living with its traditional heritage. With this, we aim for the community development involving mass reach of Moonj products and Goodwill for artisans of Artoni, Uttar Pradesh.
OUR LOGO :
The visual presentation of Artoonj is inspired by the design of the Moonj products. The design in middle area and the surrounding patterns are the exclusive designs of the Moonj chair and stools. It shows our vision of local crafts with cultural intelligence being recognized globally.
