THE COMMUNITY

Artoni is located 13 km towards west from District head quarters Agra. The village was established around 150 years back and has gradually developed through all these years. The occupation of the people in the area has changed with the emergence of an industrial area nearby but one common occupation has prevailed through these changes -The art of using Sarkanda and moonj for various purposes and something that we hope to commercialize for the betterment of the society and to help the artisan community.
